Better Angels
This conference examined the biblical, theological, and sociological understandings of power and the church’s relationship to it.
CoInspire Resources
In October of 2019, Montreat Conference Center hosted CoInspire, the second in a series of conferences addressing systemic racism in the church. CoInspire examined ways that we, as members of Christ’s body, might co-inspire one another to liberate imagination for new ways of being, and examined ways we can conspire to eviscerate the racism within our churches.
Crossroads Resources
Participants received capacity-building tools and resources to work for antiracist transformation in their churches and institutions.
DisGrace Resources
DisGrace was a faithful response to the embedded and structural racism in church and culture. We tackled hidden histories, unaddressed discomforts, and divisions between people and communities.
Dr. King’s Unfinished Agenda Resources
In a nation still struggling to build bridges between races and heal divisions generations old, how can the church of today answer the challenges King posed in Anderson Auditorium in 1965?
Neighbor Resources
Neighbor explored being Christian in a multi-faith world.
Radical Beauty Resources
Radical Beauty was a conference comprised of people who believe there’s a better way to engage in dialogue across all sorts of differences, who believe that art can build community and cross divides.
